Madayi Kavu Temple, is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Kali in Kannur, Kerala. Madayikkav Pooram Festival spread over seven days begins on the day of Karthika Asterism and ends on the day of Pooram. Every Pooram Festival Days, there will be Kottayil Ezunallath – it is held in the early morning.
